In 2017 we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Magda Szabó’s birth. On this occasion, Imre Solymár Municipal Library of Bonyhád announced a competition, in which the applicant must design a book cover for the works of the writer.

As a child and young adult, I’ve spend several hours reading her books. I wanted to honor her with a book cover, that could bring her spirit to new generations.

This project, later on, became my final project in the Innovative Vocational School of Art.
